Bank Street Apartment

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here with our 2 autistic adult children. It’s not easy to find accommodation where they are both happy and calm! If they are happy then we are happy…great location and a well equipped, clean apartment

Nothing to dislike

Great location, owner replied quickly to messages and was really kind when I said I was in the area earlier. Clean and area was quiet.

Parking was 5-10 mins walk away (but this was made very clear when booking). A stair gate would have been helpful (again I knew there wasn't one). Childproof locks on cupboards would have been good.

Close to restaurants and shops was clean and tidy.

No parking outside so went to local carpark on Williams Street and had my car vandalised.

Good value for money. Suited for our needs. Clean and tidy.

No banisters for the stairs which were a bit steep.

Beautiful apartment everything spotless comfy bed great shower perfect location we didn't want to leave would definitely book again.

A bit anonymous but fit perfect to the description

Lovely apartment, perfect for what we needed. Central, with a very short walk to shops and seafront, but set slightly away from the busier part of the hight street, so surprisingly quiet. Comfy beds, clean, and with a few little extras like washing up liquid, hangers in the wardrobe, which are always welcome when doing a short break. Parking restrictions weren't an issue for us, as we arrived Sat teatime and left Mon morning, when they didn't apply. As an added bonus, we parked 2 cars right outside the apartment (we had been fully prepared for packing and unpacking being a bit more of a hassle.) Really responsive and friendly owner.

If you wanted to spend any time relaxing in the lounge, it could do with a couple of extra comfy seats for a group of 4, just something simple like bean bags would work. We could have squeezed on the sofa, but it's a bit small for 4 people, unless you just want to sit shoulder to shoulder like the Simpsons 😁.

Host was very kind and the communication speed was exceptional! The apartment had a 2 nights minimal stay policy but the host changed it for us allowing a 1 night only reservation (we made a mistake with the dates while planning our trip for different locations in the UK).
