Seaside Apartment in Gzira

The apartment is brand new and tastefully furnished. It’s located in a beautiful area right in the center of Gzira, yet on a very quiet street, so we slept extremely well. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and was fast, and the water pressure from the taps was excellent. There’s air conditioning both in the living room/kitchen area and in the bedroom. Several bus stops are just 400 meters away, with direct connections to Valletta, the airport, and other places of interest. The area is full of restaurants and shops. The apartment’s description on Booking was completely accurate — everything listed was exactly as described, which we truly appreciated. For us, it was an excellent choice.

The only small issue was that the towels had a slightly unpleasant odor, reminiscent of damp sponge, which could be improved.

The surrounding streets can be a bit sketchy if you arrive late at night. The tenant downstairs starting yelling at me one night for "walking loudly" which was irritating.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. It was easy to find, and it’s located close to the promenade and several restaurants, bakeries, and bars. However, if you’d prefer to stay somewhere else, that’s totally fine too – everything is nearby or easily reachable. The bus stop from the airport is just a few meters from the apartment, and really, everything else is close as well. The apartment was well-equipped and, most importantly, clean. The bed was comfortable, and we also appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher – overall, the apartment suited us very well, and we’re really happy we chose this one. On top of that, the host Kevin was very kind and replied quickly. The only thing we would have appreciated was a bit of olive oil, so we wouldn’t have to buy a whole bottle just for a short stay, but it’s just a small detail. Otherwise, everything was great. There are also several shops nearby, including some that are open 24/7. I can really recommend this apartment.

Modern, clean, well equipped, efficient and friendly host. Lots of restaurants close by offering a good mix. Particularly liked Ayu. But the apartment was quiet, tidy, had an excellent TV and is perfectly positioned for local buses and the ferry to Valletta. Would definitely return.

Only two small issues / tips for the owner. 1) The rail for hanging clothes in the bedroom wardrobes is very high - so providing a small stool for people under 1.9m would be a great idea. And 2) a bedside lamp would be a great addition so that you can read a book without the bright overhead light.

The flat was bright, clean, modern and spacious. we liked the facilities in the kitchen and bathroom, enough equipment if you want to cook, and the washing machine and tumble drier were very useful, especially as we travelled very light. It was good to have cleaning materials, dishwasher and washing machine tablets. The bed was comfortable, as was the settee in the living room. The location was great for us as we were visiting family nearby. It is in a good location anyway, close to the seafront with plenty of restaurants nearby.

There was nothing really wrong with the apartment, just some things that we felt would make it a bit more comfortable to use. It would've been good to have a little coffee table near the settee to put cups or glasses on as we didn't want to risk spilling anything on the settee. Also some bedside lights would be handy. If the lights in the living area were able to be dimmed in the evenings, it would have made it a bit cosier.

We were there for 1 week with 2 sons (9y ,8y). The apartment is very well located. It is near (100m) to the sea a very nice promenade, and a lot of good restaurants, small food markets, and cafe shops. It is near to the bus station (100m) or to the Sliema ship ferry. The apartment is written to be on the 1st floor, but the buildings in Malta are special, it is like being on the 2nd floor, with stairs or with a lift - very good access. 👍. The apartment had everything we needed. I appreciated the washing machine and dry washer, with 2 kids it was necessary, and a vacuum cleaner robot too 😊. Kevin was always helpful and very kind. We would like to come back to this apartment.

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking - pots, pans, a big fridge, oven, microwave, and toaster. Cleaning supplies, like a fresh sponge, dishwashing liquid, and paper towels, were thoughtfully provided, along with a bottle of water on arrival. The iron and ironing board were very useful and made our stay even more convenient. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, and tidy. Kevin was a fantastic host - kind, attentive, and quick to answer any questions. He even let us leave our luggage after check-out and came back later to return it before our flight. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
