Family Apartment near Old City

The location was excellent, we could walk to every location and a short walk 10mins to the old city. It was our first time to Israel and we felt completely safe. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfy, apartment was clean and appreciated the washing machine and dryer. We would stay here again.

Not a deal breaker but we would have appreciated a toaster.

The apartment is very spacious and bright, and the location was amazing, short walk to Jaffa gate, with a nice view from the balconies.

It was definitely not cleaned well at all, it was dusty, had a very strong bad smell, and the refrigerator was dirty. There was dirt and dust in every corner, inside the closets, on the shelves, under the beds, and the shower knob in the master bathroom was broken and very difficult to operate, it kept falling off. We specifically rented this apartment because it’s listed as having a washing machine and we were in urgent need to wash our laundry before the second stretch of our trip. When I asked them where the laundry detergent is stored, I was told that they “don’t provide laundry facilities in our accommodation”. That was really disappointing as that is always a main reason I prefer staying in an apartment instead of a hotel, and “washing machine” is listed as one of their amenities. Wi-Fi only works well in the front of the apartment, and was barely working in the last two bedrooms at the other side. Not all beds were done, we couldn’t find extra beddings anywhere, and there were also no small face/hand towels at all, that were finally delivered the next day. Parking on the street is not free and the parking lot next to the building is only for the nighttime.
