We liked everything: location, furnishings, the kindness of the host. They did a great job to arrange and take care of their property.

What a magical, stunning hotel suite! We used the easy self check in instructions upon arrival, and were beyond impressed with the suite. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It felt like absolute luxury. It is steps from the Hallstatt main square, but also very quite & private. I would 100% stay again and recommend to everyone! Thank you!

I liked everything, the owners really put an effort to create a unique atmosphere. Maintenance must be a challenge but they are doing a great job.

I did not find any -. Maybe the fireplace not working, but fire safety is not something to play with.

We loved the property, it was cozy, warm, well decorated and had everything we needed, as far as linens, towels, and even cozy robes to lounge in. It is located in the center of town, so walking distance to all points of interest, restaurants & shops. It truly was a tribute to history!

Everything about the property itself was perfect, but our overall experience was affected by how local shop owners treated visitors. It left a sour impression. At a nearby coffee shop, the worker was quite cheeky and openly mocked guests, which felt rude rather than funny. We also weren’t aware that none of the local restaurants opened until 10 a.m. Had we known, we would have planned to cook instead. Even the restaurant at the hotel wouldn’t allow us in before 10, despite other hotel guests already dining. Clear communication about this would have helped us plan our mornings better. The only challenge related to the property was reaching transportation. The host had communicated well with us until the morning of checkout, but then we didn’t hear back. We had arranged for the Hallstatt shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to our car, but after waiting twenty minutes with no update, we had to walk the full distance ourselves. Carrying three large suitcases and two backpacks along snowy sidewalks and cobblestone streets was difficult, especially when we later saw the shuttle driver stopped for a smoke break. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise lovely stay.

Everything was perfect!

Very beautiful, unique kind of whimsical accommodation. It is in the center of Halstatt, just off the square, so not a lot of traffic. The hosts were helpful always answering in a timely manner.

There is a small river right outisde which can be loud with a lot of rain, but can work as white noise if you like that sort of thing. Maybe reception is not the best, because although there is a smart TV the screen freezed frequently whn trying to stream.

Lea was an amazing host - she was so communicative, offered great suggestions in the area, and was all around very helpful! The property itself was stunning, it’s an idyllic historic home off of the main street, with a creek running by - it feels like something out of the movies!
