Ferienwohnung-Apartment Monika in Innsbruck-Igls

It is very spacious. Close to the bus stop. Bus is short ride from center. The host is very nice. We booked last minute, we didn't wait long to get apartment. We really appreciate it.

The bedding is very thin, need to be replaced.

I recently stayed at Monika Wohnung Innsbruck from October 6-8, 2023, with a group of 5 people, including a baby. The accommodation itself had good facilities and offered a lovely view. It's conveniently located, just a 15-minute drive from Innsbruck Hbf and easily accessible by bus, thanks to the welcome card provided.

However, I must express my disappointment with the hosts. What could have been a great experience turned sour due to their behavior and attitude. We had requested an extension of the checkout time due to our unwell baby, and the hosts' response was shockingly unpleasant. They not only barged into the apartment but yelled at us, even snatching our baby's food. They proceeded to ask each and every one of us to leave the property. This experience left a bitter taste. Renting out a property to outsiders should come with a basic expectation of respect and tolerance. Unfortunately, our encounter with the hosts demonstrated the opposite. Even my elderly parents (both over 65 years old) and our 1.5-year-old baby were treated with disrespect. If you plan to visit, be cautious about requesting any adjustments, as our experience suggests that the hosts may not handle such requests well. It's disheartening to have such an experience after what could have been a good stay.

Good apartment space, local details provided to get about with, cooking facilities good, quiet neighbourhood, useful balcony, helpful owners. Bus stop nearby, tram stop not too far a walk but check its operating first. Local bus free with Innsbruck card that owner helps you obtain in advance.

Only one parking space (and we had three cars). Overnight parking available under the local Spar but around €15 per night. Also couldnt contact host via mobile, probably due to international dialling codes from my mobile. Sofa pretty hard.

Needs renovation of W/C and bathing area. The bathroom is partly newly renovated but the shower area is old and unclean with traces of mould. The W/C is separate and needs renovation of floor and W/C

Large spacious unit which worked well with our teenage children. Clean, and well equipped kitchen. Location is a little out of town but the bus is super easy to catch to Innsbruck, so was not a problem. Monica had our tourist cards ready for us when we arrived. The supermarket underneath was very convenient.

The blankets were too thin. Thus, i needed to wear a jumper to bed, and the lounge was too hard.

it was a bit far out of the main city but monika gave us free bus passes which was kind and helpful

We liked the location. Easy and quick to travel from Innsbruck center by bus. Apartment was clean, spacious and Monika very helpful. Grocery store in the same building with good selection of products. Good price-quality ratio.

Beds in the second bedroom and additional bed not very comfortable for adults and longer stay. Smell of tobacco was awful inside the building, fortunately the apartment didn't smell at all (there's probably not much that Monika can do about this issue).
