Nanny's little highland hoose

We loved the cosy atmosphere of the property. It was nice and quiet but an easy 20 minute flat walk into the city. In inclusion of foodstuff and toiletries was an unexpected bonus This is a quirky, quaint and unique property. We really enjoyed our stay here

The corner post of the bed next to the ensuite caused a few bruises as we tried to negotiate the limited space.

Lovely little cottage just 15 mins walk from the city centre. All the amenities of home, with a lovely host providing extras, such as breakfast, for no additional cost! Comfy bed and sofa, with the right amount of room to move around.

Dismal water pressure in the shower.

A lovely compact residence in a quiet area and equipped to a standard well above expectation for self catering accommodation. Car parking at the door a very welcome bonus. Hosts to be applauded for the standard they have set.

Nothing to dislike.

The accommodation is small and cosy, with everything you need and more to make your stay special. The location is perfect and convenient. It is easy to walk into town, you can park your car on site and you can easily drive to close hiking trails on the lake, along the sea and in the breathtaking woods. I highly recommend this place and I would be definitely happy to come back here in future :)

Fussweite ins Stadttentrum

Emma was absolutely lovely. We had a great chat on arrival & saw her (& the pup!) when leaving, but she left us alone as well to do our own thing. The food stuffs & kitchen was brilliant, it had everything you could possibly need. The eggs were a lovely thoughtful addition & we hard boiled some to have when we were out during the day. I can see how people who are into very sparse / spartan decor may they find it a bit busy, but it's similar to our own place so we were grand. Emma really went above & beyond to have everything you could possibly need (but forgot!) on your travels. It was perfect for us as a couple, but would defo be tight for more than that I feel. Very handy location for walking in to town, but be aware it's a bit of a walk from the nearest but stop (yellow 5/5A line) especially as we went one stop past where we should have - signal driver well in advance...! Our rental car was much larger than expected because of an issue on the car hire company's end, but I was able to reverse it into the spot in front of wee house w/o issue. Oh, the honesty bar was an unexpected lovely surprise as well! Unfortunately did not end up using it as I was driving, but such a great idea with something for all ages & palates ❤

Nothing to dislike but a few suggestions ☺️ Tea towels would be very handy in the kitchen. We randomly had 2 w us in the case as they were mixed in w clean laundry & would have struggled w/o them, as we don't like using single use papertowels. Having a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom would be brill. It is a small space & making use of vertical wall space would really help. A few more hooks would be nice as well.

Everything excellent and the breakfast was enough for all the 3 days

Sehr schönes kleines Ferienhaus. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Es gibt zwei große Fernseher mit Netflix. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet. Es gibt Essen und Trinken und Snacks. Das ist ein extra Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Absolutely lovely stay , wonderful friendly hosts and many extras provided, felt at home, cared for and among friends.
