St. John Apartment

The apartment was in a perfect location. It was very close to many attractions. Our family of four had a lovely stay here. It was very spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable and having two full bathrooms was great. The property manager Dimitri was excellent. I highly recommend staying here. If we ever come back to Isreal we would most definitely stay here again.

Location location location , just 2 minutes walking from the church of the holy sepulchre , you literally live in the middle of the market with no noise at all. Dimitri went far and beyond and he greets us at 5 am because there was around 24 hours delay in flight

Nothing really, to get to the apartment you have to go up around 12 steps which they said in some reviews that it was hard but if you really can go up your steps at your home then this should not be a problem even for my 73 years old mother in law which she was ok with it

The place is amazing,very confortable,spotless,very clean and great location,price to stay incredible.Recomen this place highly,close to all religious sites and feels very safe

Location and cleanliness… For this area or was super spacious! Our host was amazing!

Great location, right in middle of the old city, could not be better. Two minutes from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, ten minutes from the western wall. Everything was very clean. Stayed with my son, so we both had our own bedroom and our own bathroom, which was very convenient. All rooms are equipped with aircos and televisions. Kitchen is fully equipped, but we did not cook our own food because the food in the restaurants was good and cheap. And there is a small supermarket/bakery four minutes away. A few bottles of water and coffee capsules were included. The espresso machine is great by the way. There is a separate washing room outside the main apartment. The bath rooms have very low ceilings, but that did not really bother us. The beds are good. At night it was completely quiet. Also it was very convenient to be able to enter the apartment with a code.

The location is awesome , very close to the Holy Sepulchre church and close to the Jaffa gate . You can walk everywhere . Dimitri is a great host and he gives great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit .

Location is awesome and the “neighbors” keep an eye out for you. It’s was perfect.

Gotta get used to the low ceilings if you are tall. But that’s also part of the charm.

Location was fabulous and our host was very helpful. Whenever we contacted our host, he was quick to respond and to assist us with whatever we needed.

Steep stone steps difficult for elderly people to negotiate. However our wonderfull host carried all our bags up and returned early on our departure morning to carry them down. He also assisted us to the waiting point for our transfer. It also took a little time to adjust with the limited head space - low ceiling in some areas. We were in the Old Town so it had to be expected.

Perfect for a family of 4 with a twin bedroom for the children with their own en-suite and our own double bedroom with its own en-suite. All the necessary items for a very pleasant stay - hob, fridge freezer, oven, kettle, plates, cups and glasses etc. Dimitri was a wonderful host from the time we arrived at 2am in the morning and meeting us at Jaffa Gate to take us to the accommodation, to pointing out the main areas, recommending grocery stores, restaurants and walking us to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre; we arrived on Pentecost so the church was open and only a short walk from the apartment. The location is perfect for visiting Jerusalem , and the rest of the country due to its close proximity to the main bus station (for Bethlehem to the West Bank border crossing), for the trams to take you to Mount Herzi (holocaust museum) and the Mahane Yehuda market as well as to Central station for the trains back to the airport, Tel Aviv etc. When all the tourists have left and before they arrive you almost feel that you have the place to yourself, as the market traders are opening / closing up shop. Truly a wonderful experience. All in all we could not fault the accommodation, location or host.
