love the facilities, new shower set, and the mattress and sofa are super comfortable! the host is extremely nice that she prepared many beverages in the house and charged at very reasonable price, much cheaper than buying from local store. There is private parking space included. Location is no doubt, 2 mins walk to the lake and 5 mins to salt mine. We went to Dashstein and only a 15 mins drive. I recommend this hotel for sure!

Our first & only opportunity to stay in an apartment in a traditional wooden German house! Love the solid wood finishes & many little touches. Our host thoughtfully stocked the fridge w/ some reheatable food & drinks at 'normal' prices (pay cash into honesty coin box). Good because groceries in Hallstatt town are expensive unless you can drive to the next town. Drivers will appreciate the onsite parking lot. They have equipped the apartment with digital mood lighting, good kitchen equipment, and the apartment is maintained very clean. Their Nespresso coffee machine is to die for--I wished I could buy their setup in my country! We liked the separate twin bedroom for our teen kids accessible outside the main apartment at the stair landing of the same floor. The location is very close to the Hallstatt Saltwerkz furnicular & you can just walk there.

I liked everything about this apartment but some caveats & notes for improvements. People who have difficulty climbing stairs need to note this apartment is on the 3rd level. Families who want everyone together in same space need to be mindful of the separate twin bedroom. I think the apartment needs an electrical insect zapper light. Maybe more frozen food selections in the fridge?

The apartment was very nice and clean, modern, spacious and also very well equipped. A few minutes walk away was a quiet island with a beach for swimming. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the apartment and the location.

Property is on the edge of Halstatt on a quiet, lovely residential side street. The rental unit was very clean and well-stocked with lines, towels, soaps and some basic groceries. It was an easy, short walk into town. Unit was very quiet, minimal street noise.
