ENTIRE 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT DOWNTOWN - u1

The process for booking, paying and arrival/departure was fairly seamless. We did have some difficulty with the door codes because the email notification went into my spam mail initially, even though I previously accepted communications from booking.com, nevertheless a text message to correct the problem was answered promptly. I loved the apartment. It showed pride of ownership and respect for guest comfort and convenience.

The guests in Unit 2 were unbearably loud, starting around 10 pm and not settling down until around 3 am. There were loud voices, scrapping of items along the floor and heavy stomping. We considered reporting the excessive noise to the police and considered knocking on their door to address the problems, but we thought those options may be to our personal detriment. We opted to send a text message and email instead, understanding that the owners would appreciate knowing about this unfortunate situation firsthand.

Gave us a basement room below street level. Very stuffy and hot. No aircon. Right outside our door they installed a CCTV. kept monitoring our movements. Whenever we left the room, they will sneak into the room and check. Their washer dryer is faulty. Can’t be used. The location far from major supermarket. The nearest Walmart 30 minutes walk. The property is also not flexible. At 11am sharp, they kept knocking on our room door to chase us away. As our flight is scheduled at night, there is no where for us to go with 2 small kids and 2 huge luggages. We requested to extend another few hours and willing to pay market rate for those extended hours, but yet they refused to let us do so although no body occupying the room. They told us to book through booking.com for another night. Why should we pay another night for a few hours of extension?
