Villa Araliya

This place was a real hidden gem. The room was comfy and had good lighting, bed was nice and comfortable. The balcony is amazing! It has the best view of the lake, large and airy with windows all the way around. Would recommend to anyone wanting some quiet but still close to everything

What a beautiful, quiet place right on the water. Ravi and his family are so nice, the villa is spacious, clean with a private kitchen. You can hire a 2 seater kayak at a very good rate. It's a ten minute walk to the main road. It's a little piece of heaven. Fully recommend. Beautiful breakfast on the last morning as well. Thank you for some top draw hospitality Ravi.

I recently stayed at Villa Araliya and had an exceptional experience. The spacious accommodations, stunning views, and attentive staff made my stay truly memorable. The owner's helpfulness added a personal touch, ensuring a delightful visit. Safe parking, warm showers, and a convenient 6-minute drive to Hikkaduwa were additional highlights. Room was nice and comfy, amazing view to the lake and garden. Cozy pool and free cleaning every week included.

Internet was limited, so you should bring your own to be able to work. You can't pay for the room by card, only cash. To use washing machine you should pay 3$ additionally every time. Unfortunately host didin't check his kayak and gave us a broken one, so my sister and I have almost drawn in the lake.

There is a refrigerator, a kitchen, and a sitting area The level of maintenance is very high and the facilities are in new condition highly recommend

We were renting this apartment for two weeks. Owner's family lives in the same area. There is an opportunity to rent a boat on the territory of apartaments for a trip on lagoon. In lagoon you can find floating varans and crabs, birds and volatile foxes. The apartments are within walking distance from the beaches of Dondaduwa. Hikkaduva Beach, which is more suitable for swimming, an hour on foot. Cargils in a 20-minute walk. There is a fish market near (10 minutes) and small stores. The apartment includes a bedroom, a bathroom and a large terrace. There is a kitchen with a gas stove and a fridge on the terrace. The kitchen has all the necessary dishes, cooking items, blender, toaster. A large dining table that is suitable for work. There is an opportunity to buy breakfast. The owners have treated us breakfast for free. The bedroom has a fan and air conditioning. The bathroom has a water-heater, so there is always hot water in the shower. The internet is not unlimited, the owner warns about it in advance. There is an opportunity to increase the limit in case of payment.
