This room is reasonably close to a tram station 4 stops from the main train station. It’is also adjacent to a shopping/amusement district with many restaurants, shops, bars, etc. It is huge (for japanese standards), even if you bring some luggage. Since this is an apartment, there is also a washing machine in case you spent too much time in a yakitori bar.

Also typical for apartments, the toilet is separate from the bathroom, which may be convenient or not. In our case, the toilet was very small, economy-class airplane size. Some previous guest must have had frequent collisions with the paper roll holder, so the screws became loose and this thing fell off all the time. I expect they fixed that after we left. Other than that, japanese culture continues to be oblivious to foreign languages, so good luck figuring out the remotes for TV and bedroom illumination. Shame on those pesky tourists for not learning Kanji before coming here. There is a dance club across the alley that attracts a funky crowd, but we didn’t feel really unsafe there. As for keys, there are three four-digit codes to remember, Good for your brain. This place is advertised to accommodate 6 people. This seems more like a theroretical maximum. If used like that, there will be no room for luggage and beds may prove too narrow. We didn’t need to extend the sofa, so no comment here.

Great location, spacious and well equiped kitchen.

Would have been good to have a few chairs to sit at the table

The best thing about this property is the space! I could honestly live here! It has everything that you need including an iron/ironing board, washing machine with detergent and the bathroom converts into an drying room for clothing. Just use the buttons to switch the drying function on. The beds are large and extremely comfortable and there is enough space for you to cook.

The only thing that could have been better was having a smart TV so that Netflix could be watched.
