Evgeniko Villa

We spent six nights in the Villa, we liked that it’s outside Kardamyli and in an almost secluded spot, very quiet and a lot of privacy. The Kardamyli area is so beautiful, we did three hikes through beautiful villages, olive groves, gorges and mountains, taking photos all the time. The villa itself is very clean and appears new as well, the owner must have taken pain in keeping it in a pristine condition, the two cooking pans almost appeared brand new (unlike heavily scratched ones normally seen in such rentals). The villa also seems stocked with everything one needs, fresh fruits, cake, coffee capsules and mountain tea awaited us upon arrival, bed/pillow/cover are very very comfortable like 5-star hotels. The view on the patio is mesmerizing, unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy it much in March. When the patio cannot be used, the kitchen & eating area can feel very small, doing big cooking is not very convenient. We mostly just made breakfasts or heated up leftovers. The WiFi was very slow to almost non existent during our stay, which seemed to be a local infrastructure issue and owner was very apologetic about it.

We’ve stayed a hundred of properties worldwide and this host was amazing at hospitality. Baked goods, gifts, top of the line facilities, beautiful view.

This place! It’s simply the best stay in our opinion. Only a few minutes walk to Kalamitsi beach where you can enjoy the small and quiet bay (beach chairs come with the apartment) and go for a swim. We were also blown away by the story and visit to the Patrick & Joan Leigh Fermor House which is practically the neighbouring estate. Kardamili village is just down the main road. And up the road will bring you to Stoupa and Agios Nicolaos. The Mani region is just beautiful. The hosts are just wonderful. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, homemade cake, fruits, water, juice, honey, toast, butter and jams. Also enough coffee and tea. The apartment is very clean and has every you need. The best asset is the main terrace to enjoy your sundowners. We can highly recommend Evgeniko villa.

The famous Patrick Leigh Fermor House is also nearby, making it an ideal spot for history and literature lovers. Plus, you’re just a stone's throw away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the area—perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. Comfort and Cleanliness: The room itself is immaculate, reflecting the meticulous care that the hosts put into maintaining it. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. From the moment you step in, it’s clear that the hosts have gone above and beyond to anticipate every possible need you might have. The room is equipped with everything you could ever require, making it feel like a true home away from home. Hospitality: The hosts are some of the most gracious and attentive I’ve ever encountered. They genuinely care about making your stay perfect, and it shows in the little touches. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a delightful selection of welcome treats, including breakfast essentials and a bottle of wine—a wonderful surprise that set the tone for a relaxing getaway. Views and Value: One of the standout features of this room is the breathtaking sea view. For the level of comfort, service, and location you get, this place is exceptional value for money. It truly stands out as one of the best accommodations I’ve experienced, and I eagerly look forward to returning again. We visited for a long weekend - the house was great and clean, the location was amazing and so was the beach that’s just around the corner. The owners were super hospitable, discreet and informative and provided us with plenty of gifts and homemade treaties. Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend it!

The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The host provided many extra amenities, including cake, wine, and sparkling water. The sunsets from the 2 terraces were amazing!

Lovely accommodations and wonderful hosts. We loved staying here. Amenities were thoughtful. We enjoyed conversing with our hosts. We enjoyed a nice walk to the beach nearby and loved the town of Kardamylii.
