clean flexible amazing host

The apartment itself was quite neat, pleasant view over the roofs of Karlsruhe. The location is very close to KIT.

The building complex is not very pleasant, long, stuffy hallway with a lot of clutter. Definitely not a "Deluxe" ambience as advertised. It seems like a sublet unit in a student residence, so perhaps not as pleasant for business travellers.

This apartment is 5 minutes away from the KIT south campus, which was ideal for my business visit. It is very clean, and well maintained -- in particular the bathroom is in a very clean state. It is also quiet and looks out into the courtyard, even if one could still hear some noise of neighbors through the walls. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked just fine for professional activities.

The host was quick to respond to emails, but there was no personal interaction: the check-in is fully automated with codes for the front door and apartment door. Nothing wrong with that business model, but small things are lost through it, e.g., out-of-date, stale coffee cream containers which the cleaner would never check for (admittedly the host was apologetic here). It was fairly expensive for what it was, perhaps more worthwhile if one would use the TV and the gym.

Very nice and comfortable apartment. Very well accessible by public transport, walking distance to the castle. The landlord aranged for us a parking place in the undreground garage (for reasonable price) thus also parking was easy. The communication with the landlord was very good.

The corridor is not well ventilated.
