La Casetta di Barbara

Located in the middle of the country side, it is a perfect spot in case you want to visit Florence and at the same time, sleep at a quiet place, far from the chaos of the downtown. Barbara, the owner, is a very nice and helpful person. The apartment was clean and very well equipped

Location.. it was right in the middle of a traditional Tuscan olive farm and very beautiful and cozy, authentic Tuscan household. Host lives just above and are very helpful, friendly and co operative. Barbara was alway smiling and very pleased to talk to…

Barbara is a super nice and friendly host and the place is located in a beautiful countryside.

If you don’t have a car it makes the travelling hard from this place to Florence city centre.

The host is extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is great, you are literally in the Tuscan countryside looking out onto olive fields. The house, yes house, not appartment, is massive and fully equipped with everything you need. The small swimming pool is a luxurious treat after a hot day in the sun.

There is no aircon, so it gets very hot during the nights.

Amazing host and a beautiful home

Having a car is an absolute necessity, not ideal for tourists looking for easy access to Florence

Very nice and friendly host Barbara, cosy place, we even had a jacuzzi, views were wonderful. Highly recommend :) worth the price

There is a dog, if you are bored and if the owner lets you play with him he is really energetic and really joyfull to play with. The atmosphere is fine, and it is surrendered by olive trees. It is easy to accsess by your car, you can park your car in front of the propety.To go to Florence center you can reach a parking area with five minutes driving then take a bus then in 25-30 minutes you are in Florence center.

The kitchen utulites were not enough, there is no kettle.
