GBA family size annex attached to the host's house which is circa. 200 yrs old is located only 7-8 mins walk from Miminashi station. It had basic self catering facilities and had AC in all rooms which kept us warm. There were tea bags, bottles of water and coffee in the kitchen and we cooked dinners most of the nights we stayed. No bath but the shower was good enough. Managed to get good nights sleep in our fresh and comfortable beds and futons. The host, Sakka-san really looked after us. He had a very good local knowledge including historical places to visit in Asuka. He also gave us a quick tour around the main house and of its history which was very interesting. 作花さんご夫婦には大変お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。We are definitely coming back.
We had to walk through a bedroom to get to the only toilet in the annex.
HKFriendly hospitality from the owner. It is highly recommend this house for stay. You will be well- experienced the traditional Japanese culture from every corner of the house. DEA nice house in a quiet residential area outside the centre. Attentive host. Recommendation: be sure to have your dinner in the somewhat quirky restaurant nearby (ask the host). We were not disappointed.

NOI feel so grateful for staying here. It is a house of history and filled with historical objects (and equipped with modern facilities for full convenience). The hosts are so kind to introduce the heritage as well as the history & traditions of the area, and help me to explore the area in a most enjoyable and convenient way. My trip was filled with sense of history, wonderful scenery & findings, and joyful learning, which couldn't be possible without staying in this accommodation and the hosts.
USBest place ever and perfect hosts. Easy going, fast communication and great local knowledge. They facilitated the pick up from train station and also made a tour to the major historical sites around the area. On a renovated traditional Japanese house, the room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. I will come back to this house 100% next time and absolutely a great recommendation to everyone.

JPGBThe owner and his wife have lived in the US so their English is pretty fluent. It is a self catering apartment that is part of their home, a remodel in a traditional house very comfortable. The owner picked us up at the station and also took us on a tour of local historical sights making the stay very memorable.
Some may find the location a little challenging as it is in a residential area, but as I said, the owner picked us up and dropped us off at Yamato Yagi station.
