We loved every minute of our stay. This was a real once in a lifetime holiday for my mum's 70th and made so special because of our host family. I can't tell you how grateful I am. we felt so welcomed and at home xx

The location is near the KEF airport, so it’s good if you’ve an early flight. The house is amazing, it includes a gym room, team room, game rooms etc.

It’s warm and comfy, it’s also included all the facilities that you want for fun and relax.

It was lovely and modern. The Sauna and hot tub were amazing to relax in after a busy day. My children loved all the technology and gaming as well. Both the hosts were really lovely and helpful also

It's a spacious apartment, only a short drive from the airport, walking distance into town and close to supermarkets. 45 min drive to Reykjavik and lots of scenic excursions are a short drive away. Approx 30 mins to see the Bridge Between Continents, the lava pools, volcano 2hour drive to Geysir. 1.5 hours to Selfoss and 3hours to Vik. The apartment is an excellent base of operations:) The beds are very comfortable, sauna and outdoor hot tub are amazing. Plenty of towels. The music surround system is very cool. The apartment feels safe and secure. The washing machine and drier are decent so i'd recommend staying for at least a week and packing light and just do laundry as required. Actually, our clothes dried on the radiators in the gym so didn't need the drier. Fernando's is a good local place to order tasty pizza from. General tip: There is a car hire place in Keflavik so you if you're tired from your flight, you could just use the free shuttle to the apartment then sort out car hire later. If you do hire a car at the airport, I'd recommend using Europacar, Hertz or Avis as they have desks at the airport. There are few other places that operate out of a unit 10 mins from the airport and it was a bit of a faff getting shuttled there, sorting out paperwork (which we had to input all our details again even though we had prebooked) and having to drop the car back at 4am for our 6.30am flight. We've hired a car 3 times in Iceland and still find the process a bit murky as there are a lot of different comparison sites and companies who are agents for different car hire companies but they seem to share a pool of cars!

We liked everything. Perhaps the Welcome pack could provide some instructions on the recycling system for the region so we can separate our rubbish correctly. A saucepan with a lid would be useful, but that's not a complaint as we cooked just fine all week.

The hosts were wonderful and super organized. All the instructions were very clear. The apartmant was comfortable and fun. The location is amazing and we all wish we had stayed longer.

Everything, this was one of the coolest homes I’ve stayed in. If I’d been longer, I definitely would have checked out the games. But we did try the hot tub and sauna! Appreciated that Arnór catered to his guests and what they needed. You could tell thought was put into every little thing. Great, convenient place to stay.

Nothing really, only minor thing, the water had a slight sulfur smell to it in the shower. But that went away with time and the Blue Lagoon products smelled amazing.

The property is very unique with lots of great lighting options and very high tech. Everything we wanted was provided. Great place to stay.
