Dora Holiday House & Apartments -Sauna & Relax by the Lake

Such a lovely comfortable well equipped apartment in a very convenient location 5 minutes walk from the most gorgeous town centre of Keszthely and 5 minutes from the Keszthely strand beach area on the Balaton. Warm and cosy as days were getting cooler. There is a queen bed and 2 singles end on end behind the queen bed with a divider separating , another sofa bed in lounge if needed.its the down stairs flat, however we were not at all troubled by those staying upstairs. Lovely outside setting with sauna to use at a small extra cost , 2 bikes which we did use on one days, lots of fun. Walking distance to lots of different restaurants which were a bit quieter as off season. Melinda was our host could not have been more friendly and helpful! I’m already planning another stay 😌

Voor de deur parkeren, communicatie met host, prima bedden, app. tussen centrum en pier Balaton op loopafstand, goed uitgeruste keuken, adviezen host over bezienswaardigheden, winkels en heel goed restaurant, ruim appartement, in rustige straat

Informatie over sleutels in kluisje zodat we niet hoefden te wachten was via Booking verstuurd op de dag van aankomst en dat ontvingen we pas toen we weer wifi hadden in het appartement. Host kwam de sleutels brengen dus dat werd soepel opgelost. In appartement waren 4 bedden en wij waren met 2 dus daar konden we onze 2 koffers kwijt. Anders geen plekken voor koffer. Wel kasten, maar op een rondreis van 3 weken waarbij je om de paar nachten verkast pak je je koffers niet uit. Aan overkant van de straat was een hond die blafte bij elke voorbijganger. Gelukkig waren er nauwelijks passanten ‘‘s nachts toen wij er waren en konden we met de ramen open . Wij waren er 1 dag (2 nachten) en dat was voor ons voldoende. Zoveel is er niet te doen. Wel een leuk slot om te bezoeken.

Very beautiful and spacious apartment and close to downtown and beach. Confortable bed, full kitchen including dish washer, laundry. Castle is less than 20 minutes. Great cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. The host Melinda was very nice and friendly.
