Location is perfect

The beds were very comfortable. The location was really fantastic, not only was it a few minutes walk from the main square in Hallstatt, but the little private garden that opens onto the lake had a picturesque view. Although the house above and the Boatshed nextdoor were also being used while we were there, it felt very private.

The room was unfortunately dirty, there were spiderwebs all over the apartment, and we had to remove several spiders which kept crawling over the bed. The taps in the bathroom are slightly broken and need to be twisted in an odd way to make them work. There is very limited hot water, only about 5 minutes, which wasn't enough for both my partner and I. Several of the lights didn't seem to turn on. The check in process, and by extension all of our communication with the owners was really awful. We ended up needing to wait several hours after it got dark because the property manager had forgotten to put the key in the lockbox. This wouldn't have been so bad, but they also didn't answer any of our calls or messages until booking.com got in touch with them. They later also ignored our subsequent messages entirely. I should also note that after booking.com got involved, they tried to blame the situation on us, saying that we had simply not seen the key, luckily we'd taken a photo of the empty box. Overall I would not recommend staying here, although there's not a whole lot of options in the area, for the price they're asking the value for money is horrendous.

The position on the lake (the yard was really on the lake). The apatment was big and comfortable. The bathroom modern and clean. The wonderful Lakeview from the windows.

cleaning about apartmant was worse over expected, everywhere was spiders. other problem was parking car without apartmant in The parking With payment 15eur/day and payment taxi too, if in The e-mail was writing shuttle taxi will be free.

The location and the little patio.

It was not cleaned, the bed was not made and there was used underwear on the bed, the bathroom floor had used towels and the trash was full (and also had used underwear). Tried calling and messaging the property for 2 days, no response. Contacted booking.com and they could not manage to reach them either. It was plain disgusting having to improvise bed sheets. I can’t imagine what would have happened had there been a problem with the key and they didn’t reply. It has been over 24hrs since checkout as of writing this review, and they still have not replied.
