Albany House by Harrogate Serviced Apartments

Excellent location which was close to the centre but in a quiet residential area. A parking space was an added bonus. The flat was a good size for 3 adults and the kitchen was well equipped. Harrogate is a beautiful town and is definitely worth a visit.

I liked everything about this apartment! Even though the photos are obviously accurate, they definitely don't do it justice - it's much nicer than it seems in the photos. I was attending a conference in Harrogate and stayed for five days with a colleague. The flat is less than a 2-minute walk to the conference centre which made it really easy to nip back if I'd forgotten anything and it's in a beautiful, safe, and quiet area of tree-lined roads and within walking distance of the centre and the shops. Both bedrooms and both bathrooms were clean, comfortable and exceptionally quiet which meant we were able to sleep well each night. Noise doesn't even carry in the flat - there were times when my colleague came home and, even though I was in the master bedroom next to the hall, I didn't hear a thing! The way the main bathroom is positioned next to the 2nd bedroom means that if two people are staying there, it's almost like you both have an ensuite and can go to the bathroom without disturbing anyone. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a table in the living room where you can eat. The living room was comfortable, and the lovely thick curtains in the flat make everywhere really cosy and homely (there are blinds too). The towels supplied were plenty big enough (and I'm not tiny!) and the face towel in particular was one of the softest I've ever used. The flat is on the ground floor so no steps, which is handy when you've got luggage, and I never heard any noise from the flats above. The host, Jill, was really helpful and communicative at all times, promptly answering any questions, and this will definitely be my first choice of accommodation when I return to Harrogate.

The location is on a very pretty road and a very easy walk into town. Off street parking means no looking for spaces. A very elegant apartment with everything you might need. Immaculately clean.

The decor is a bit generic but that's often to be expected with serviced accommodation.

Very nice place, very clean and tidy. Within easy walking distance of town and also in a safe area. Very easy access to the apartment and good communication from the owners.

Space was much bigger than expected

Shower head broken, shower plug and sink plug blocked.

We loved the location primarily as it's a mere 5min walk from the Convention centre which is where we spent most of the weekend. It's also not far from the many restaurants and pubs that provided us with a good meal out on our evenings. The apartment is very modestly furnished but all furnishings and features are high quality, comfortable, working, clean. Having on street parking was also a boon for those of us travelling by car. I personally appreciated the snuggly blankets in the lounge for when we were relaxing and helped provide extra layers at bedtime when the temperature dropped.

There was nothing we did not like.
