The apartment was clean, modern, and bright, and was conveniently located close to the train station and only about 10-15 minutes walk into the more touristy centre of La Spezia. The host didn’t speak much English so I just used Google translate to communicate but he was super responsive and helpful.

The position is perfect, only needs a few minutes to go to the train station. The owner is kind and gives me help when I need.

No slippers.

Large & clean room, friendly staff, good location, equipped with a water boiler so I could have warm drinking water.

Staff doesn’t speak that much english although communication was not a problem.

Location is close to the train station. Host answered our concerns and despite us contacting him late at night, came with fresh linen.

There were no cups for tea, besides tiny coffee paper cups. AC is noisy.

There was no one to let me in on arrival, as a traveler from NZ with no internet this proved rather difficult to contact the person. In the end they just gave me the codes to everything to get in and get the key. I would definitely recommend sending this through before the expected arrival of guests so they aren’t on the street with their bags running to the local palazzo for the free wifi. A few bowls, plates and some cutlery would be nice to provide.

Great location, between the city centre and the train station. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well supllied. The owner was very kind and available.
