The view from the property was genuinely beautiful and one of the highlights of the stay. We loved stargazing from the rooftop at night. Irene was friendly and responsive via WhatsApp, which we appreciated.

Parking was challenging. The driveway is tricky to navigate - we were okay driving up because our car was small, but there weren’t enough spaces when other guests were there, and one of the few available spots was taken up by an excavator for an entire day. Most days we had to park down in the village and walk up the steep hill The coffee machine had no coffee provided. When we asked, Irene just told us to buy some from her family’s shop. The listing advertises the beds as being ‘extra long’, but it was a standard length with a base at the end which was frustrating for my tall partner. The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped — a lot of basics seemed to be missing. The outdoor areas shown in the photos looked private, but in reality, they’re shared between guests. There was limited privacy in the downstairs part of the apartment - the bathroom door is right by the front door and there are no curtains. We had no running water for a full day, and Irene wasn’t especially helpful or proactive in resolving the issue. This was frustrating as it was a very hot day and we weren’t able to take a shower. Some parts of the apartment weren’t as clean as we expected.
