Fantastic value for money-spotless no frills apt. in quiet open area with pool-walking distance to beaches and food centre-efficient host. Near airport but no aircraft noise- would need transport - would return there.

Wifi was fast and reliable. Shower and bath with an immersion heater that was small but functional. Secure parking. Close to the beach and to the new shopping arcade with restaurants and a supermarket. Kitchen space has: Large fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, double-hob, toaster, microwave, washing machine (loud but effective).

There were cockroaches. I saw them at night on two occasions. The bed is far too small for two people. I had to sleep on the couch. The arrival process was terrible. The booking confirmation stated in writing that there would be someone there to meet me. There was not. I had given several weeks' advance notice that I would be arriving between 19:00 and 20:00, so my arrival time was not a surprise. On arriving at the apartment, I phoned the owner and, only then, did he send information on how to get in. This information, which didn't arrive until I called again after 20 minutes, was a series of photos that made little sense, along with purely Spanish explanations. It took an unnecessary 35 minutes to get in and to find the parking spot. He could have provided an overhead plan of where the keys are, how to get to the apartment and where the parking spot is. And he could have done that 24 hours before my arrival rather than have me scurrying around the complex trying to work out the apparently random images and messages he was sending. The French windows do not close properly meaning that the property is never completely secure and there is always a draft. There is no ventilation to pull air from the bathroom. Any toilet smells fill the (small) apartment space. I booked for 11 days for two people. The owner provided just two toilet rolls and just one bin bag, the same as he would for someone booking two days. Why are guests who spend more penalised like this in so many apartment rentals? The apartment has no heating facilities and is north-facing. It gets cold in January when we visited, and there's nothing you can do about it. The crockery needed to be cleaned properly before it could be used. There was no drinking water on arrival. A small/medium bottle for someone arriving in the evening (as I did) would have cost the owner a euro or two, more than covered by the 770 EUR I paid for 10 nights.

The apt is so close to the beach it's unreal! We watched the sunrise every morning! I love it!! People were nice and the local shop is 5 min walk away! They had a bar right on the beach! The place was clean and we had everything we needed!

The hot water was not enough for 2 people.

Loved the location, away from really touristy areas and a nice walk across the dunes to El Medano for restaurants etc. La Tejita has a little shopping mall with some nice bars and a really good little supermarket. The pool in the complex was amazing. Clean and amazing views of the mountains, palm trees, beach only a stones throw away. The room itself was clean and equipped with the basics (condiments, toilet paper, shower gel) to get you started with your holiday. The sofa bed was very useful. Free WiFi and a nice outdoor area which felt private and caught the sun. Really nice overall!

It would have been nice to be met by the host on arrival as it was a bit confusing as to where to find the keys! However this was quickly sorted after a phone call to the host.

Good location

Worst stay ever. I have never been in such dirty apartment. Especially the bathroom was terribly bad. Please see attached photos! There was a layer of dirt in the bath. It hasnt been cleaned for ages. On the photos you can see a white stain on the bath - that a place that I cleaned. The owner didnt see a problem. I asked for refund but he said that all was ok and it is clean in his opinion. Even a TV pilot was totally dirty. Cockroaches. Highly not recommend.

The location is great. Very quiet area. A few restaurants and small shopping centre. The beach is very close and the pool is great, quiet and refreshing. The Internet was super fast. The washing machine and TV are great.

It took a while to get information about finding the keys when I arrived. The sun never really shines on the balcony. It's a little bit isolated but only 3km to El Medano, however, you cant walk this at night.

Location was perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of towns/cities. Beach was practically on the doorstep. Communal pool was fantastic. Supermarket and many restaurants few minutes walk away. Can't complain much about the apartment itself. Had all we needed.

Only thing we didn't like were the pillows. Bed was comfortable but the pillows made it difficult to sleep as they were so uncomfortable.
