Domus Palombi

LOCATION: it just happens to be 3 minute walk from Ladispoli station, 5 minute walk from a large supermarket (Conad), and 10 minute walk from the city centre and the seaside, honestly super convenient but also away from the hustle and bustle of hot summer nights, so it's quiet to sleep. INSULATION: while it was warm outside (up to 28 degrees in the day!), it was nice and fresh in the house, day and night. The way the house is built protects from the scorching sun, and the large balcony is perfect for a drink or even dinner in the shade. It has great ventilation as the building is a stand-alone and has windows on all 4 sides. No need for air con in our case (in fact, I needed my light blanket all night while there). KITCHEN and DINING ROOM: large and well equipped - including coffee machine with capsules and new dishwasher which was super as we had a group of 6 and were out at a conference all day. BATHROOMS: a larger one with toilet, bidet, shower/bath and large sink unit. Spacious and comfortable. The other smallr but also equipped with a power (spa type) shower. Awesome. BEDS: super, and I mean SUPER confortable as well as brand new. I have a shoulder injury and I normally wake up in pain after sleeping on it in my normal bed at home. I never woke up in pain there for the 4 nights I stayed! The mattress I had (twin room, see pic) was memory foam, which I don't generally like because I move a lot overnight. But there was something incredible about the firmness of the base that supported my back, and softness of the top that eased my usual shoulder discomfort... it was the best sleep I had in months! In fact, I was going to ask what brand they are. I was just amazed and pleasantly surprised.

Just a suggestion: currently there are 2 bathrooms in the house for 8 people, but one is used by 6 people, while the other is used by the 2 people in the room next to it. If you put a door on the double bedroom, then the smaller bathroom can be accessed independently and it would be used more equally by all guests, otherwise 6 people sharing one is too much. We just about managed to juggle with 4 people and it can be chaos before or after a conference, or a seaside visit :-) Other than that, it's a great place!

Comfortable roomy home with a family feel. Quality furnishings and finishes. Great location close to train station, beach and shops etc. Very friendly hosts who were available to assist with anything. Mario and Marco, thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful property.

Bardzo mili gospodarze, blisko do centrum, pociągu i sklepów.

Appartamento molto spazioso. Adatta anche a gruppi numerosi. Stanze ampie e presenza di due bagni. volendo si poteva parcheggiare anche dentro il recinto dell'abitazione. Proprietari molto cordiali e gentili.

Non ho nulla da eccepire.

Host molto disponibile, alloggio pulito e dotato di ogni confort.
