La plage de Petit-Havre

Valerie was there to meet us, and although parking is quite small, it was a Sunday when we arrived, and it was busier than usual in the road parking too. All was so quaint, we were not in the main house, but in an apartment separate from the main house. It didn't look much from the outside, but inside was cool, the bed was comfortable and clean and tidy. The shower room was spacious, and we had an outdoor kitchen on the terrace.

We would have liked a little more shelf or cupboard space for clothes, there was a small place for hanging, but we were away from home for 3 weeks..that's a lot of shirts and dresses! There were shelves but more would have been nice.

We had a great stay at Le Petit Havre. The appartment was good and nice and the best part is in a few minutes you walk to 1 of the most stunning beaches you will ever see. Follow around the beach the small paths and you will see beautifull places where its not that crowded. Valerie. the owner is a great woman who helps you where ever see can, and also she speaks english! Once again it was a great stay . Great location walking distance from a small beach. The host ( Valerie) was always accommodating. We needed snorkeling gear, beach towel and electrical plug adapter which we borrowed for the week.

The parking could be tricky. She had 3 parking spaces for about 5 apartments, although there was plenty of parking space on the street as long as you were parking before 08h00 or after 17h00 (outside beach hours). The kitchen was very basic but functional.

Easy access to the beach, very friendly host.

The unit I was in was very dark. Very humid and smelled of mold. During the day septic system which is across the street is leaking in the street. So the smell of feces is constant. Very disturbing. Also repairs are not announced so they cut the Wi-Fi with no noticed numerous time causing me to lose a lot of work.
