Dear Ikos Investment, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable experience I faced during my recent booking with your property in Liverpool. On the night of 11 Oct 2025, at approximately 11:55 pm, I attempted to access the property. However, the main door did not open and the key provided did not work. This left me stranded outside the property late at night whereas my bag, clothes and other belongings are left inside since I checked in at 7:15 pm. I immediately attempted to reach your emergency contact number, but despite repeated calls, the line remained busy. I also tried contacting your regular customer service number several times, but no one answered. I have come to the property in the morning as well and tried to call the direct line where I spoke with the representatives last evening but no one has picked up the calls. This represents a grave deficiency in service and a complete failure of your duty of care to your guests. As a direct result, I was forced to secure alternative accommodation at midnight, incurring an additional cost of £120. I have also recorded a video as evidence of the issue with the door, which I can provide if required. In view of this unacceptable experience, I demand the following: A full refund of the booking amount. A refund of the refundable security deposit. Reimbursement of the £120 I was forced to spend on alternative accommodation due to your service failure. Please treat this matter with utmost urgency. I expect a written confirmation of the refunds and reimbursement within 7 working days. Failing this, I will have no option but to escalate the matter further, including reporting to relevant consumer protection authorities and leaving formal reviews. “Overall, the apartment was fairly clean with a convenient location – not far from the stadium and with a bus stop and shops right outside the building. At check-in, we were asked to leave a £100 deposit, which was later refunded. The apartment itself is quite old, and the shower leaks water onto the floor. However, the kitchen is well equipped, which makes it very convenient for cooking.”

"Great apartment with everyone you’d need."

This property was tidy, spacious and had everything you’d need for a short stay. Check in and check out were easy and the space was comfortable and warm.

It’s a bit further out of the centre for those looking to be able to walk to attractions and I had to pay a refundable £100 deposit which wasn’t made clear when booking.
