CLIFTON Apartments

The location was quite close to the city centre and there was on street parking. Local shops just around the corner.

The apartment itself was very basic, very strong musty smell throughout the apartment. I wasn't told it would be a basement apartment, and the pics on the website did not reflect this either. It was very claustrophobic. My 10-year-old, who normally sleeps on his own at home, was too scared to sleep. Also, you could hear all the noises from the apartments above. We booked for 4 people, but there were only 2 dining chairs, and apart from a sofa bed, there was no other seating in the living area. The toilet was in a tight space with knees leaning against shower cubicle and as it was in a basement no window and just a fan to air it, but it didn't do much. Also, no mop to dry the floor. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 as we struggled to sleep.

The location was good

The beds and mattresses were horrible. The floor creates creepy noise when you walk on it.

Das Appartment befand sich halb im Keller (Souterrain), ohne dass es vorher angekündigt war. Die Ausstattung war spartanisch (z.B. nur ein einziger Teelöffel). Lampen hingen teils auf Kopfniveau im Weg. Mobiles Internet bedingt durch die Lage schwach, Wifi aber noch schwächer. Als reine Schlafunterkunft akzeptabel, als Familienzimmer im Urlaub nicht

The apartment was cheap and close bye Anfiled and a short Uber to the centre. Quick response from management.

Toilet was not secure to the wall, the toilet did not flush with button so needed to remove lid. Both beds require new mattresses as you can feel every lump and bump. Sink tap in the kitchen was not secure and need to be held into the sink to not flood the room. Lack of sofa in the room to relax, there is a sofa bed but not ideal to sit on. Its a shame as the apartment could be great with only a small investment on facilities.
