It was in a great location and I loved the balconies and outdoor areas. Perfect to wander downstairs to a cafe to eat. Really couldn’t have picked a better spot, we felt very lucky to have stayed there. Sandra the host was great once we arrived and lovely and very helpful and obliging.

Trying to drag a heavy suitcase from a distance through the cobble streets then up the steps was difficult and not easy so depending on your ability to do this as some people may not be able to. WiFi was not good, very intermittent and a lot of times we had none at all which wasn’t great as I did not have roaming so couldn’t communicate with others when needed. Initial conversation before arrival with host seemed difficult when I had questions but once arrived was great.

Location location location. In this respect casa del borgo is nearly perfect. Situated in the old town, great restaurants, gelato stores, and shopping are all at your door step. The owner provides a free parking pass. This is huge as parking in the area is a bit challenging and expensive. Malchesine itself? So much to do. Water sports like windsurfing and kiteboarding, paragliding, hiking, shopping, ferries to other towns - it’s all right there! The apartment is spacious, the host is very friendly and the patio is fantastic!

in the summer months if it is hot the fans have a hard time keeping up. If you like to sleep early the adjacent restaurant could be challenging if the windows are open. Adding a small air conditioner would make this property pretty much perfect. If you require linnen for all of the beds I recommend asking in advance.

i really liked the location and the big terrasse!

The property had everything we would need for the week, our host gifted us some wine in the fridge for our arrival which was really nice. We were so close to everything, restaurants near by and shops about 5 minutes walk away. Such a beautiful place!
