Pinini Country Apartments

Fantastic place, great views. The spacious apartment is fully equipped, modern and stylish. Like a lot of the roads in this area the shortest approach is narrow, steep and twisty but it becomes part of the experience. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The amazing view! It’s really stunning to sit at the balcony for breakfast or dinner and have this view. The pool was nice and it was good parking opportunities. We also liked that the apartment was spacious and very clean. A short walk from the apartment is a few restaurants.

It is a bit off from Malcesine, and you need a car that like mountaindriving. ;) There are only a few restaurants close so you need a car if you want to have different dinner experiences.

Amazing location with spectacular views of both the lake and mountains. Spotless apartment with a fantastic shared (but still felt private) terrace and a lovely pool area. There is also a good restaurant within short walking distance, and the mid point for the cable car up to Monte Baldo is also easily walkable. Malcesine and the Northern, mountaineous part of the lake are stunning. We also enjoyed the self check in procedure, and the hosts were easily contactable via Whatsapp for any questions, which was very convenient. Wanted to add that contrary to many of the previous reviews you absolutely DO NOT need a car. There is a lovely downhill walk to Malcesine town, which takes 30 to 40 minutes, with outstanding views along the way. The walk back is steep, but doable if you are relatively fit, or there are a few taxi companies who will drive you for 25 EUR (it's not cheap but then neither is renting a car?). We tended to walk down then get a taxi back in the evening. Getting around the lake is then easy with either the local bus service or the hop on hop off boats, plus you've also got the cable car.

The kitchen is fully stocked, but you have to bring everything to cook with (salt/pepper/oil etc), and there is no shower gel etc in the bathroom. But as long as you're aware of that at the outset you can come prepared. There are a few good shops in the Malcesine, so no issues.

The apartments are well furnished, clean, tidy and the views of the lake and mountains are incredible! Communication with the host(s) was super easy and stress free. I highly recommend this place. You definitely need a car if you're not a keen walker.

Netflix on the TV doesn't work & the satellite TV glitches in and out on certain channels.

The view is worth the drive far uphill! Lovely place, a clean room with the necessary equipment. Everything worked very well, we loved the pool.

Nearist shop is quite far away down in the village's main road. But with a car (which is essential in this accommodation) it's not such a big deal.

Apartment was clean, looking good, with nice view and easy parking.

In the middle of May swimming pool water was very cold, not heated. Sofa in the living room was uncomfortable and making a lot of noise (apartment 5).

Very clean apartment. Check in was easy with clear instructions, lovely welcome gift of wine, grounds are very well kept and tidy. Lovely view. Close to monte baldo cable car station. Plenty of parking. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need for preparing meals including washing up liquid and sponges.

As others have commented a car is needed. Whilst it is a steep hill walk to get there, this isn't the main reason for needing a car. There is nowhere nearby to pick up basic amenities so if you plan to self cater , you would need to do a shop in malcescine and get a taxi to the accom. A return taxi journey is €50. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Only other area which could be improved on is toiletry provision. There was a tiny bit of soap left in the bathroom dispenser but no shower gel or any other toiletries.
