Amazing location, under 1 minute walk to ski lifts, bars and restaurants.

Property was clean, ideal for friends or family, warm and location couldn’t be better.

Location

My family and I have been going to Austria for thirty years. I have always been very satisfied and dare to compare the service and behavior of the owners both in hotels and in private apartments. From the services of this young hostess, I absolutely and clearly understood that the problems that arose during the stay (the first day the water did not flow for 24 hours, the next day the heating stopped working), she is comfortable solving them with SMS messages, ending with the message that the heating simply has to be turned on. I understood the advice that we should close the radiator heads and open them as not very appropriate communication, especially when after another day they both found faults in the heating system of the house outside our apartment. These days we spent time in the room and these shortcomings really made our stay very unpleasant. Everything ended with 2 nocturnal apresques by the neighbors above us, and upon a complaint, the owner advised us that we can solve these problems ourselves. I really didn't think it was reasonable to go up to the floor above us where there were drunk people at 1:00 in the morning. The next night was quiet. The mold in the bathroom was apparently a problem even though we ventilated. This experience was unpleasant, but Mayerhofen remains a beautiful alpine resort.

Apartment was large, modern, and well furnished and outfitted. Plenty of room to spread out and cook meals. Very convenient to 2 main ski lifts and a supermarket to allow for making your own meals. Staff were very helpful with information.

Coordination on key pick-up was a little rough because of difficulty getting call to go through to number posted on door. Also finding location is a little tricky as most GPS get you to top of street and location is about 40 yeards down a "side street"/driveway. In apartment, hall light is motion sensitive so comes on quickly which might be annoying if some in group go to bed early and others are still moving around later into the evening.

Large, spacious, modern, lots of storage, super clean, comfy beds and perfect location.

The property was well located, close to the ski lift and near a supermarket. Although very centrally located it was also very quiet. Also separate kitchen which was well setup.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.
