U1 Brunswick Living Ground Floor Patio Close to APT and CBD Free Wifi Tram at Doorstep

Clean, neat, the tram at the doorstep is an absolute game-changer, so helpful makes the whole trip much easier and saves quite a significant amount of tram time.

The nearby shops were not the best of quality

We liked the location, it was very convenient having a tram stop right outside. The apartment was tidy and had everything we needed. It would be perfect for a short stay.

The space was a bit small for the week long trip we had, in particular the bedroom really only just had room to walk around the bed. The bathroom also had some broken items such as the toilet paper roll holder and hand towel rail.

Weak wifi, no TV in the bedroom (just minor things)

The location was good, free wifi, close to cafes and Coles. The host was friendly and easy to contact.

You can hear a lot of noise from the upstairs apartment.

Behind a quite uninviting exterior lies a nice surprise: a cosy, light and spacious apartment in the heart of Brunswick. Modern and well equipped (fully working kitchen, cosy bathroom with a washer/dryer), thought of a lot of details.

The fact that you’ve got to pay AUD 200 (way) in advance as a security deposit was literally tucked away deep down in the small print at Booking. com. The fact that I’d already paid my stay in advance and in full made me feel a bit annoyed, especially since it wasn’t clearly mentioned. The fact that I couldn’t use my creditcard to pay this deposit and had to make an international bank payment while I’d JUST paid my stay using my creditcard is something I still don’t understand. But: apparently my security deposit will be paid back within days and you’ll forget all about it as soon as you walk through the door!
