Blue Garden Homestay

authentic Vietnam Homestay. owners socialise with you and let you sample homemade food and drink. they even made up their bed for us to crash on at 4am when our bus arrived so extremely generous. beautiful location outside of town but they have bikes to hire to get around. amazing stay!

The owners were very kind and helpful. They do not speak English, but used google translate to talk with us. They invited us for tea and rice wine and gave us grape fruit from their garden every night. The homestay is situated a few kilometers away from the centre, but located between the mountains so it’s very nice and quiet.

One downside is that the homestay does not serve breakfast and the city is quite far away which is unfortunate. Scooter rental is provided though!

What an amazing experience! The hosts (and their whole family) are so welcoming and kind. Food and fruits are plentiful and they will help you with anything you may need.

At the price it’s difficult to find anything worth complaining about.

It was more than a Homestay, it was a great experience. The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast here and everything was delicious. The room is big and clean, and the place is quiet so is perfect for relaxing. For us was the best Homestay in Vietnam and we will never forget their big smiles and kind heart. I totally recommend this place.

Mrs Hang and the family were really great hosts and the place is amazing: well located, with good and clean rooms and a great ambience. Mrs. Hang's parents were so welcoming and made us feel at home with all those delicious meals

My wife and I went for a short trip in Ninh Binh and staying in Blue Garden was a great decision. It has made our short trip a memorable one. The place is perfect for someone who is trying to have a great time and a great place to stay with the nature view. Mrs. Tuan if I'm spelling her name right is so entertaining she even let us use her fishing rod to catch fish on her pond. Which was one of the highlights of our stay as we both enjoyed the bonding. She even cooks for us without any charge. She treats her guests like her own Family.

My stay here was genuinely the highlight of my time in Ninh Binh. It was such an authentic local experience. The family took care of me like their own daughter and are so sweet and funny. My room was spacious and clean and the whole property is well-maintained, including a lush fruit and vegetable garden and two ponds. The food, especially the fruit, was delicious and abundant. The neighborhood is so quaint; it was nice to bicycle around sunset. I also rode to the surrounding areas on the bicycle, which took between 20-30 minutes. I hope to come back one day to see them again. I will never forget this experience.

It was wonderful! Fantastic area, very nice owners even tho they didn't speak English they were very devoted to translate everything for you. Very clean room, well maintained facility, lovely meals and delicious rice wine to try there :) very chill stay. We regret that we couldn't stay there longer. Totally recommended!
