Stairway to the castle

This apartments best feature is it's great location. It's just a short walk to great restraunts, shopping, and tourist attractions. Just know you'll have to drag all your belongings up a relatively steep incline to the apartment, as there's no vehicle access up to the apartment Once you reach the building... don't get too excited, just take a sip of water, and continue dragging your luggage and broken body up the narrow and steep stairs while trying to avoid all the cobwebs. Yay you made, go ahead get settled in, now just when you say to yourself this place isn't that bad; and honestly it's not but there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. 1st This place has serious ventilation/moisture issues, which are obvious apond entering the bathroom. 2nd The cosmetic issue are easy, peeling paint, water damage, broken shower curtain rod...seriously the shower curtain rod is duck taped together. 3rd The spiders and ants, but mainly the spiders. Since, I'm hyper sensitive to all spider bites, and have to take antibiotics and large doses of prednisone over a 5 day period to prevent cellulitis/tissue death; that's a hard No The ants were just gross. I'm generally not a quitter but for health reasons I prefer not to knowingly share my personal space with spiders Also please provide fans when it's 80 degrees outside, as there's no air conditioning So, this was not the place for me, I found another apartment and left early. ***Please kindly relocate the spider family. (Dad's in the bathroom above the washer, mom's in the bedroom corner behind the door, unfortunately a visiting cousin of a different species ran across the wall very close to my friends head; he didn't survive. No photos attached we all know how spiders look; however can be provided upon request.

The spiders, and ants

The location is 10/10 excellent, right in the old town. The room was very spacious and contained everything we needed and more. Having a washing machine was very useful, and the bathtub was a pleasant surprise.

Although the room itself is in good shape, the rest of the building (e.g. the stairs up) is in need of renovation. The interior is also a bit oddly designed, essentially a long sequence of rooms in a chain, so e.g. the bedroom is very far from the kitchen.

Location for bars and restaurants , but inside really quiet and peaceful. Nicely decorated and very comfortable with everything you could need for a short or long stay

Bit of a hill to climb to get to at the end of the day. The so-called air conditioning is not very effective

Great location, beautiful view from the appartment, spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would really recommend this accommodation. The location is also great. Al the shops, restaurants and sightseeing locations where in walking distance.

The place was clean and located in a great part of the city — very convenient for getting around.

There was a slightly noticeable damp smell in the apartment, but the biggest issue was with the hot water. After a long 7+ hour drive, we arrived late at night (as we had informed the host in advance) and went to bed around 1–2 AM. Naturally, we wanted to take a shower, but the water heater wasn’t working and there was no hot water for any of us (4 people). Since it was so late, we didn’t want to disturb the owner at night and decided to contact them in the morning. Unfortunately, they were not understanding and refused any kind of compensation or resolution. Simply blamed us for not calling them at night, despite the late hour — but realistically, even if we had, the heater would still have needed time to start working, and we wouldn’t have had hot water until much later anyway. Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but the lack of hot water and the way the situation was handled left us disappointed.

Great apartment, close to Preseren Square, 5 minutes walk, with all amenities and well equipped. Smooth contact with the owner. Highly recommended.

Comfortable warm quiet apartment in the centre of the old city. Very spacious and well equipped. Close to restaurants, shops and museums. Easy check in with key code. Had a very pleasant 3 nights here.

Clean, well-equipped apartment at an excellent location. Literally 2-4 minute walk to several cafes and restaurants and a 10 minute (uphill/stairs) walk to the castle.

The only downside was that the bed in the main bedroom was creaky and could use another set of pillows. But that would not deter us from booking this again.
