The location is perfect, and the apartment was very clean when we arrived. The WiFi is fast, and the room is spacious. The best part is the kitchen—it’s fully equipped with a pan, oven, microwave, and fridge, which made it easy for us to cook and store food and drinks. The building seemed quite busy, as we noticed keys being frequently collected and returned, but the neighbours were quiet and respectful.

It would be even better if a hair dryer could be provided. We were aware it wasn’t listed before arrival, and appreciated that a small heater was provided.

The place was easy to access and instructions easy to follow — just the code for the building door and then the key off the hook for our chosen apartment. Just round the corner from the Sainsbury’s, which was very convenient, and only a few minutes walk away from everything else. View from the window was great, with a table and chairs in front of it, allowing us to be nosy, as usual. Living room was spacious, bathroom a decent size and bedroom big enough to walk around the double bed easily. The kitchen, whilst not massive, had enough room if you wished to cook a meal or make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. Bathroom had plenty of toilet roll, so no worries about running out somehow. Towels were also provided — one per person.

The kitchen only had one small window, so was quite dim, even in the daytime. Cleanliness certainly wasn’t awful but could have been better — the small table with a fake plant on it had a layer of dust. One sofa was covered by a blanket that was tucked in to keep it that way (no problem with that!) but the blanket already had small white bits on it here and there by the time we arrived, which wasn’t great for myself as I have diagnosed OCD and am greatly bothered by such things. Similarly, the duvet of the double bed had lots of small, random bits on it (wool from another blanket perhaps?), so unfortunately also triggered my OCD. The description or email (can’t remember which, sorry!) stated that they were lots of options on the TV, including movies ready for you to watch. Disappointedly, this wasn’t true — only normal TV, YouTube and BBC iPlayer. Not the end of the world, just that we were expecting more options given that it said there would be.

Perfect location for the beach view. Liked the location.

Not clean as described,the apartment is very old and mouldy and smells bad.Not recommended for the family with children. You won’t get any staff for any information or help unless you call them . Otherwise everything is okay.

The location was its best feature. Minutes to high street and sea front. Ability to make small meals on the two ring burners.

Main building and apartment does need a bit of refurbishment. Place could also do with a deep clean . Not as clean as it should be especially around the toilet area. Would have cleaned it myself but no cleaning products in the apartment.
