The overall facility and location were good.

The actually property we rented was terrible. It was dirty, grease was all over the electric range, the burners didn't sit flat it looked like it came from a junkyard. The frying pans were in terrible shape, we bought our own! The bath towels were threadbare, the patio screen door had a large tear in it. The bathroom floor tiles were uneven causing us to trip.

The complex is lovely and right on the beach, but the unit is not beach facing. You are more likely to hear the train than see the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is updated and the microwave was usable.

The unit itself was unclean and poorly maintained. We spent time cleaning the trash can area, kitchen counters, utensils. pans, as well as the dining table and chairs that were sticky and covered in crumbs. We used a sheet to cover the sofa that had a stain, and came to find that the sheet also had a stain. The patio was tight and used for surf boards and chairs, which we chose not to pay an additional amount to rent during our stay. At the very least this unit needs a new stove, fresh paint, and new sheets and towels (thankfully we brought our own beach towels) as well as a thorough cleaning which was attempted to be masked by an overwhelming amount of Febreeze.

Location was great for the beach and underground parking included. Shortish walk to the harbour. Room was a great size, loved the shower. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Didnt use some of the other facilities (eg mini golf) but looked very good

Ants in the room. I also wosh there was some basics in the kitchen (eg salt)

Nothing. Total nightmare.

HEALTH HAZARD: this unit has rodents and mold/mildew, sheets are stained. One of us had an asthma attack upon entering, and the other threw up and battled migraines all night. The bed sheets had stains, the stovetop was rusty, and there was dirt and sand all over the floor and deck. Boogie boards broken and thrown on the deck. We checked out after 1 night and paid for a clean hotel. The host refused to refund the unpaid nights (4 total). They also used false photos from a different unit with a beach view - upon pointing this out, they changed the photos. Beware of this property. It is a health hazard, unsanitary, and an incredibly deceiving property listing.
