There was no breakfast provided and $200 was a lot of money from arrival at around 3. pm.

I noticed, after letting myself in as the key was left for me that the drapes were wet upon walking in. When I spoke to the owner on his return he said his wife had washed them, and they were still drying then. The dehumidifier was left on all until I went to bed to take the dampness out of one of the drapes and it was dry in the morning although there was water in the dehumidifier and the owners had not emptied it even though I went out to dinner. They also asked for me to pay cash and I needed them to get funds from the ATM as Mangawhai does not have a bank. The bathroom was cold, the coffee maker was grubby which I washed inside and then it would not work. I needed to rinse out the kettle to make a cup of tea and there wasn't even a biscuit to have with my tea in the morning. Towels were clean, there was one already used bottle of shower soap and one by the handbasin. It is needs updating with a new mattress and I just felt $200 was a lot to pay. I still do not have the receipt, but took a picture of the cash I gave the owners.
