It is a lovely room very well located!!! The hosts were super lovely. I'd happily come back and stay again.

Very friendly hosts who let us check in early after arrival with a night bus, great location in a quiet street yet super central, spacious room (it's bigger than it looks on the pictures). The shower had hot water and good pressure, AC worked well, there is access to a fridge and microwave + free coffee, and wifi was good. We got our laundry done for 100 pesos, and it came back cleaner than it usually does from lavanderías. All in all we were very happy to stay here and would definitely come back next time we're in Mazatlán!

The toilet easily gets wet from the shower due to placement, which is a bit annoying. Not a big deal though!

The location was acceptable.

It was advertised as a one bedroom apartment; however, it was a room and bath with common space to be shared with a man across the hall. The common space was junky, not as shown in the photos, and items were decades old. I don't know if they worked. The building was disheveled. There were no lights for the indoor stairs instead there was a lamp to be plugged into a socket for light. There was open access from the roof to the top floor where the unit was located. This is a safety issue because easy access into homes from the roof is common. This property falsely advertised the accommodations. It was impossible for me to stay, I did not check in, and had to pay twice the rate at another location as it became a last minute stay. The property owner doesn't want to provide a refund even though I talked with them onsite of the problems and told them I could not stay due to the situation.

The hosts were great, very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for someone on foot. Close to the malecon ,Olas Altas beach, and the mercado . Not fancy quarters but had everything everything we needed to be comfortable. They were also accommodating to our early arrival and late departure.

the family was very kind and helpful and had a cute friendly dog. the room was spacious and the AC worked well as did the mini fridge. the location was great and walkable everywhere we wanted and needed to go. for the price we payed I really can’t complain I think it was definitely worth it.

there were a few things that I would have liked to know before booking. check in instructions were unclear, we had no issue finding the house but just had to yell through the gate to get someone to open the door. we still made it in okay and Marco was very helpful when we arrived. if you are a tall person you wont fit on the bed, I am 5’8” and found if I turned around too much in my sleep I’d wake up with my feet hanging off the bed. the toilet is in the shower but no issues other than getting wet after a shower. there were no cups or utensils upstairs for us to use in the microwave and there was no coffee jug for the coffee maker. the front door (not the gated door) is also sticky and can be hard to unlock but give the whole door a few jiggles and that should do the trick

Excellent value at a very good location. Very close to the market and beaches.
