East Melbourne 1BR - Close to the MCG

The location is good and has a comfy bed.

It’s a cold, dark apartment. The place is full of unnecessary stuff but not even an extra roll of toilet paper or dish washer soap. We had to get them by our own. There is no microwave, no air conditioning system even though they are mentioned in booking.com. There is a panel heater behind the sofa which can not used because it is not possible to move the large sofa anywhere else. Non responsive host, the property rules are even written in such disrespectful terms that feels like they are hosting some anti social people who are there to steal their old items from the property.

The location to the MCG is fantastic. Also close to tram stop for easy transport. Parking was right out front and free of charge. Bed was comfy.

The property is advised with air-conditioning and it only had a pedestal fan! We then slept with the window open as it was hot and stuffy. Unfortunately a train line runs close by and toots ALL NIGHT. The room is on the second floor and access is via stairs, we have issues with stairs due to injury and were unaware until will arrived. The room was tidy but there was mold growing in the shower. The mirror in the bathroom was impossible to use. After our departure I realised I had left something behind, after messaging the host he replied once and never again.

The apartment is in a small art-deco style block in a very pleasant part of east Melbourne. It is amazingly well located for sports fans and we could literally stroll to the MCG as we did one evening for a cricket game! It was great having a parking permit and parking on the road was easy. The apartment is very well appointed with modern facilities. It was clean and comfortable. You can also walk to central Melbourne from the apartment, and we thoroughly recommend the wonderful Fitzroy Park which is only 5 minutes walk away.

Not much could be improved. The TV options were mainly on-demand although this suited us (the sound on the TV is rather distorted so this may need looking at by the host). The apartment is quite compact, but this suited us fine.
