Spacious Modern Apartment - St Kilda East

Wonderful home. We were so lucky to find this lovely 3 bedroom home so close to amentities like the Tram & Bus, supermarkets, a lovely strip shopping precinct with loads of restaurants and cafes. We could jump on the Number 16 Tram and be in the heart of St Kilda within 10 minutes where we encountered more shops, restaurants and cafes. The home itself is true to the description and photos. I wasn't going to put up my own photos but, in the end, I have because I wanted to show how the listing photos reflect the actual accommodation. We were so lucky to find 3 bedrooms with two bathrooms and 3 toilets, a laundry, two TVs, large dining table, very spacious kitchen, and a spacious lounge area with a super comfy couch. Each bedroom has two single beds and plenty of wardrobe space. Great for a long stay as we did (3 weeks). The owners are very generous with the amenties provided. Loads of toilet paper, soap, laundry powder, oil, salt and pepper. Towels, quilts, sheets, pillows are all provided as well as a bottle of water and a chocolate for each bed. Sweet! If you have a car, there is plenty of street parking. There are great views over the southern suburbs, great for watching a good thunderstorm as we did. Be aware that this apartment sits on the first level with the only access via an external staircase but if you can manage stairs this property has no other faults. We experienced just about every season during our 3 week stay (typical Melbourne) but throughout this time the indoor temperature remained comfortable with an effective airconditioner and window blinds. I would highly recommend this home away from home. Such a lucky find and would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Very clean and welcoming. Great that there were three rooms with single beds and three toilets.

It was all excellent. Maybe a pair of tongs and a sharp knife for kitchen but other than that really great. Very clean and well appointed.

Perfect for our group gathering with all of the comforts from home.

The stairs did make it a little difficult for luggage etc, but we managed.

We liked that the owners were thoughtful and provided little basics that many apartment owners don’t. Salt, pepper, oil, cling film (Saran wrap), tissues in every room and lots of toilet paper. Hairdryer, extra towels, these all make the stay in a self catering apartment so easy .

The staircase leading up to the door was fine for us but it may be difficult for older or infirm.
