Studio 4 - Saint George Accommodation

The doof doof music from the Pasta place below from 9am constant all day was an issue if they could turn it down a bit and be conscious that accommodation is above.

Very comfortable room

Didn’t feel safe having an unlocked gate down a dark, narrow alley to access the building. No staff on at night. As a single woman working nights I would have liked to know this was the type of self check in with just codes and no keys before making a non refundable booking. Asked questions about it but received no response from staff either. If I’d had the option to cancel and rebook somewhere that felt safer I would have. Lots of dust and people’s socks under the bed.

Good localisation (near the train, and in a good suburb).

When we arrived in the bedroom, we discovered moistures and spots in our sheets. So we called the owner to know if we could have new sheets. The owner only said that we had to find a solution by ourselves... So we had to clean our sheets with the washing machine of the building, by ourselves... We were disappointed by the lack of communication. There were also that constant smell in the bathroom. I saw some mice in the building (not in the bedroom). Some stuff weren't clean such as the fridge and the microwave. Just, don't chose this hotel.

The bathroom of room 4 is a bit smelly (some sort of food smell comes through the ventilator). The wifi connection did not work very well.

The room had everything you would need and the location is great.

The staff are not really that responsive, certainly not when you need an answer so I would definitely ask all questions prior to stay rather than during stay. There was really loud trance music playing in the room next door at 10:30pm every night. Given there’s no staff on at that time and the walls are pretty thin, I just had to put up with it.
