Depa Arena y Fundidora

A couple of days before my trip to Monterrey for the Monterrey Metal Fest, the venue was suddenly changed. I had specifically booked accommodation across the road from the event, so the sudden change to a venue across town threw my plans out the window. I quickly scanned listing near the Arena Monterrey and found the listing for the Depa Arena y Fundidora. The apartment was in the perfect location and it seemed almost too good to be true. I booked it instantly. I requested an early check in, as I had to pick up tickets at the box office and didn’t want to miss any of the show. I received a prompt response from Adriana about the possibility of an early check in, dependent on potential booking the day prior. Adriana was personable and excited to host us. We arrived and the check-in process went smoothly, besides when I misread something due to being overtired and had to contact Adriana with a dumb question. She corrected my silly mistake and we settled in. The apartment is the perfect setting if you are going to the Arena Monterrey. It is literally across the street, which has a pedestrian overpass over the busy street. We were able to witness the crowds forming and relax with a drink after picking up our tickets, before heading over for the festival. After the show, we were able to relax with a shower and some food before bed. Check out was seamless. Adriana was thoughtful and patient, provided me with some local information and the apartment was set up with all the information that we possibly could have required. I would not hesitate to book this apartment again for another show at the arena!
