150 steps to the main square

The location was perfect, you can exit via the back of the property to the river side walk in the evenings. Only a 7-10 min walk from bus station/ railway station. Facilities were overall good. Basic kitchen utensils were available. Kitchen had a some Oil, Salt, Pepper. Addition of Sugar would have been nice. Two types of pillows were available and the Air-conditioning was very nice.

The WiFi in the property was fluctuating a lot, had to use my mobile data, because we were from EU, this wasn't a major problem for us. Microwave wasnt available, but wasn't a major problem. And the Duvet cover was provided, with Duvet available in the cupboard. Duvet was higher tog, so couldnt use in the summer. We had to use the cover as sheet, It was a bit smaller than our liking for two people on the bed.

The location was excellent. The property was basic but clean, and communication was clear. The hairdryer worked and there was even a diffuser which was great for my curly hair! The building was architecturally interesting.

It was unclear from the photos which apartment you would get. 162 steps from the square is definitely a studio apartment, with no soft seating options. There was no access to a garden, terrace or bar as mentioned in the main listing. Or if there was there was no mention of it once you were in the property. The windows from this studio face directly on to the inner walkway so zero privacy from people going to their own apartments. Some basic maintenance needed on blind/coat rack, pillows were lumpy, bath towels and kitchen towel were thin and frayed - need replacing. It was just a little bit disappointing overall but served my purposes.

Great little apartment in the heart of the old town area, we loved being able to walk to the castle funicular, restaurants and cafes. Little kitchen has what you need for cooking if staying in. Very comfortable bed and communication with staff easy and efficient. We even found a kangaroo in Ljubljana, made us feel at home!

Wifi in Ljubljana is patchy, if needing to communicate with accommodation or family back home. Staff did everything they could to solve but feel it's general issue for the area.

Excellent location. Nice and quirky apartment. Has a lot of character. Loved the courtyard garden.

Said as hopefully constructive criticism as we enjoyed our stay and liked the apartment overall. . A couple of small improvements would make all the difference. Decent sized pillows would be good and two per person ideally. Towels were a bit on the thin side and quite musty.
