Selkie Cabin Achmelvich, Lochinver

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue est magnifique, et il est très agréable d’avoir des moutons qui viennent brouter devant la maison! L’emplacement est calme et serein. A quelques minutes de la splendide plage Achmelvich.

This Pod was in great location with good views, unfortunately the satnav does not take you to it directly, so need to rely on google maps and the signal is not great in this area. Great accommodation though with everything you cold need for 1 night or more.

The shower/wet room is very small and would be improved is its was a little larger, apart from that is was a good shower with good water pressure, just everything in the room gets wet!!

View of the loch - superb Decking and seating area great to enjoy coffee and breakfast Wi-Fi Well located - 2 minutes drive from Achmelvic Bay, 10 minutes from Lochinver shops

Smaller than expected bathroom Appearance and layout more traditional More expensive than some that have more modern features (decor, oven, fire pit, full bathroom etc.)

Some local information would have been helpful, e.g. where to walk (and find the path leading to the rocks/beach below, where apparently seals are seen).

Everything you needed for a great stay, good sized rooms, comfy bed, great shower, homely feel

Absolutely stunning location, very lovely place to stay!
