Selkie Cabin Achmelvich, Lochinver

Absolutely superb location, super comfortable cabin, and the best possible hosts you could hope for.

It was in a stunning location with spectacular views across to the mountains. It was very well equipped and we just loved our time there. We wondered if the shower would be okay as it was just a small wet room but it worked perfectly!

We had to have our luggage on the floor and just take the clothes out of it as there was no clothes storage but in a small pod, we did not expect this anyway. The rest made up for this slight inconvenience

Hosts were very friendly and offered plenty of advice for places to see in the area , pod was clean and comfortable and in an excellent location

Nothing it had everything that you need on a short break

Comfortable, clean with a fantastic outlook. Weather wasn’t kind to us but we did visit the beach, approx. 5mins in car.

The showering facilitates, wet room, I found too small a space.

Nothing, I liked it all

Loved the cabin with its stunning views. It is a wild area with a lovely beach a short distance away. However, it is also close to the restaurants of Lochinver.. Willie and Dorothy are excellent hosts .making sure we had everything we needed. The weather was exceptionally hot and sunny, but it would be lovely here in less good weather as well. Hope to return.

We loved everything about this beautiful cabin. it was very spacious we loved how there was good use of the space provided & it was spotlessly clean and has everything you need for your break. A great base for many lovely attractions on the NC500 within walking distance of Achmelvich Beach. To top it all, Willie and Dorothy were the best ever hosts, very caring and thoughtful. Don’t hesitate booking the Selkie Cabin.
