"Great short break in a lovely apartment with a very kind host."

A very nice apartment, comfortable and well-decorated, just right for a couple. Very kind and helpful owner who gave us a lift to the bike rental place in Lubbenau and gave us plenty of information. Lubbenau is gorgeous and perfect for walking, cycling or kayaking around the Spreewald. The open air museum in Lehde is great.

I hadn't realized the location is quite a walk out of town, but that was my fault for not checking. As soon as we had the bikes it was an easy 5 minute ride to get into town each day. On the plus side, it is very near the Aldi and Lidl stores, so easy to get supplies if needed.
