Luxury Pitlochry Retreat- Cairngorms Ntl Park Gateway

The location was ideal close to the Main Street but still in a quite area, the flat was perfect clean and comfortable a proper home from home.

There was nothing not to like

Entire property seems brand new and very clean. Very well equipped kitchen and loved the TV room. Bed was extremely comfortable and the garden area was an added bonus with the lovely weather. The central location was ideal for the things we had planned in Pitlochry, easy walking distance to everything and plenty of parking out front for our car. Host communication was excellent, and recommendations for the local area were given before our stay - super friendly :)

The property was spotless and the location was central but still tranquil. The kitchen was well equipped and apart from the lack of a tin opener or a teapot was otherwise of good standard. The complimentary toiletries provided were of good quality.

Check in was poor. The promised message detailing our entry code did not arrive and we were left sitting with our bags and baggage on the doorstep for the best part of half an hour. Alarm bells on arrival as the neighbouring property was sprayed with grafittii not the best first impression. The promised outside space was hugely disappointing, a decked area which was overlooked by the neighbouring blocks of flats and consisted of very dilapidated garden furniture which looked like it was about to collapse. The promised large double bed in the bedroom was a regular double bed and was aside from being smaller than expected extremely uncomfortable. The standard lamp in the lounge area had a number of bulbs out. A disappointing lack of attention to detail.

Well presented, very clean, excellent location, pictures of accommodation are excellent, however the reality is even better. Definitely the place to stay in Pitlochry.
