When you book to stay here, the owner sends you a message telling you how to get in using the key in the key box by the front door. It couldn't be easier. The place itself is compact, although there's plenty of room to spread out a bit. There was soap in the bathroom, and even a coffee machine with plenty of coffee. The location right next to the main square is about as good as it gets, and the best restaurant in town is literally just round the corner. This is the fourth place I've stayed in in Rokiškis, and it beats all of the others. I'll be staying here again the next time that I visit.

It's totally not their fault, but it's worth knowing that if you're arriving by public transport the bus station is a ridiculously long way out of the centre, and I don't think that there are any taxis in Rokiškis. Why all of the long-distance buses don't make a quick detour and allow people to get off in or near the main square is a mystery. I'd even pay an extra euro if it was possible.
