Excellent location, good facilities with well equipped apartment

Pillows weren't great but a minor detail in the scheme of things.

Good location. Very airy apartment with windows and shutters all round. Superb outdoor space. Very quiet, so had. A great sleep and only a few minutes walk from the port itself.

When we arrived at the property and opened the front door we could hear water running from the toilet. The flusher had jammed and when I informed the landlord he suggested fixing it the next day. It was very noisy and I had to persuade him to attend same day otherwise a disrupted sleep lay in prospect. The next problem was the stopper for the bath. It had a fancy opening mechanism which I spent 20 mins trying to operate. It wouldn’t work. I contacted Gabriele who said he knew about it and was waiting for the part. If he’d told me that in advance I’d have bought a plug in Santa Margherita myself. He refused to fix it and stopped responding to messages. My wife needs a bath due to back problems which was one of the reasons for selecting this property. Had a real sense Gabriele couldn’t care less about his guests.

Quite a nice place. Comfortable and well located. Clean and well appointed.

Was a bit hard to find. They said look for a green door. All the doors are green.
