Tropical Oasis Near Zoo, Petco & Downtown

The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, etc even though we didn't need it since we were out the two days we were there visiting family. We really loved the reverse osmosis system & the fans in all the rooms. The place was the perfect size for my family and appreciated the non-carpet floors. My husband & son have allergies so we have miniature poodles that don't shed so we prefer non-carpeted places. Our host welcomed us and it was so great to have a good, comfortable place to stay. They even had little snacks and Keurig coffee pods which we didn't need, but was very thoughtful. Weather was gorgeous! Definitely will use again if in the area.

We were out all weekend, but my son said that he couldn't get the TVs to come on. We didn't bother to contact our host since we were busy and my son had his laptop to game & talk with his friends. WiFi worked well! We were glad to have a reserved parking spot, but would like to have know beforehand there's only one. My son & his wife drove after flying in late and had to locate parking on the street. The parking was manageable and we understand very well how space is premium in popular areas since we live in the bay area. Just a heads up.

Located in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown.

The location was perfect to see all the sights. The beds were soft and comfortable. Loved the chickens on the property and the plants and walkways were beautiful.

The bathrooms were not very clean and there were limited towels. Had to use a beach towel as a floor mat.

Charming home away from home. Very clean and tidy throughout. All appliances in good working order. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood, close to convenience stores, food outlets and coffee shops. 20 minute walk to downtown (a bus does leave from top of road also). Owner lives nearby and always willing to help with any problems. Check in instructions sent in advance. Beautiful little garden. WiFi available. Would highly recommend this property for any length of stay.
