"Very good"

Quiet neighborhood with mom and pop stores and restaurants 1 block. Park 2 blocks.

Watch out where dogs have been. Some owners don't clean up after.

"Comfortable, but noisy"

Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Nice to have a kitchen. Location worked well for Uber.

Noisy. Lots of banging from the unit upstairs. A couple of times, it sounded like they had dropped a safe! The house shook. Upstairs toilet flushing early in the morning woke us. Noisy dog nextdoor. None of this the direct fault of the proprietor, but it does matter to potential guests.

"Good location but place could be kept up much better!"

Location was great! Close to Balboa Park, zoo and Gaslamp area and easy access to 5 freeway to get everyplace else.

Place could have been cleaner. Lots of spider webs and we saw 2 roaches in the bathroom. Kitchen is sparsely furnished with old stuff. All decor is thrift store and patio is a mess with green pond and green fountain . His many tropical plants are half dead and dead leaves all over.

"Highly recommend!"

House was very clean & neat, with eclectic furnishings & decor. Beds were comfortable. Loved having 2 full bathrooms. Outside seating area was what the whole family loved the most; it felt private in the middle of the city. Beautiful plants and a water feature as you walk up to the building. It was close to the airport, shopping, restaurants, MCRD, tourist destinations, and beaches. Very nice kitchen; didn't use it except for the refrigerator because we weren't there much. It felt spacious and we really appreciated having the extra space to relax. I would definitely stay here again.

The master bedroom ceiling fan wouldn't turn on, but there is a stand up fan we used. It was somewhat warm in the house when we first got there, but it was also unusually hot for the area while we were there. A small indoor air conditioner helped, along with the fans.

"Lovely flat in a central location!"

Spacious flat in a really central location, beautiful garden and well equipped kitchen. Great for kids and for exploring the city! Immediate area is nice with some good restaurants too.

The beds are memory foam and without centralised AC it felt warm at night in August. We would stay here again though, just at a cooler time of year.
