Please note that reception opening hours are from 09:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 19:00. Check-in is available after 17:00 and check-out is possible until 11:00 for cleaning services. For late check in, please contact the property at least 24 hours in advance, using the details on the booking confirmation or in the Special Requests box during the booking process, late check in has a cost of €20 from 7 pm to 9 pm, and €30 from 9 pm to midnight. Upon check-in, guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Guests who would like an invoice with a tax identification number must request it prior to arrival using the Special Requests box. A security deposit is required upon arrival. For T0-200€, T1-300€, T2-400€, T3-500€. This will be charged by credit card or cash. The refund must be made up to 7 days after check-out if there are no damages or occurrences in the apartment. For all stays longer than one week, towels are changed once a week. Sheets will be changed once every 10 days, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The property offers a baby cot from June to September at an extra cost of EUR 5. The baby cot is free of charge the rest of the year.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Terrible."

The location is not bad for the money.

Furniture and interior in general very old and in a bad state. But the worst was the beds, bathroom and cleanliness. The towels were full of stains and as we complained every day it took them three days to get them changed. The state of the bathroom was so bad the kids refused to shower there. So far the worst experience we have had with booking, and we travel a lot!!

"Avoid like the plague… book elsewhere!!"

Nothing… I was given an apartment that looked nothing like the pictures advertised. Complained to booking.com and was told they can do nothing.

Everything was old, bedding was from the 80s. The balcony/ kitchen doors didn’t lock. I was offered another place to stay but if they can’t get it right the first time, avoid like the plague

Location, size of appartment, great balcony

Poor equipment, no coffee machine, not even sponge for cleaning and detergent, 1 small piece of soap, overall condition of the appartment is weak does not justify the deposit of 300 euro

"Spacious apartment, good value for money, located in the heart of Quarteira."

The communication with host was very easy through the booking.com app. The host met all my requirements, such as baby cot in the room, early check-in as we arrived in the morning and booked a private airport transfer for us. We collected the keys easily at the office. The apartment is at a perfect location, right at the heart of Quarteira, within 3 minutes walk to the beach and it’s surrounded by shops and “pastelarias”.

We had to pay a €200 euro deposit that we weren’t aware, which is normally refunded after check-out , provided the apartment is in good conditions after inspection. This information was not clear during booking. The room doors handles were broken, there was only one electric heater when we arrived , so the apartment was cold on the first night. The next morning I asked for an extra heater that was provided and a handy man came to fix the door handles , but could not fix them all as some needed to be replaced.

"An absolute nightmare with the only bonus being the gorgeous beach."

Being close to the beach .

Advised since we would be delayed getting to reception ( flight delay ) we would incur 30euro charge . We stayed overnight at my relative’s in the next town. Arrived in the morning of the 26th July . Asked for 200 euros deposit which I paid . Unfortunately I did not realise what was to follow. No electricity in the apartment. Fridge freezer had defrosted onto the floor . Apartment had a stale smell and the fridge stunk of fish . Absolutely infuriatingly there was no Wi-Fi ( despite advertising) . No air conditioning in the extremely high temp. All furnishings were tired and dated . The water for the shower ran cold then extremely hot ( a danger for anyone) no warnings . With regards to lack of electricity I was informed by Alanna the young receptionist that we should return at 1630hrs . Asked Alanna if there was an alternative apartment we since we were going out later and needed to unpack and shower to which she replied no and that I could wait to shower later . It was so sad that we had booked this holiday for my partner who was recuperating from an illness. This was exhausting. I explained that this was our 2nd day into our holiday and that if we were getting no alternative accommodation we should at least receive some kind of discount. No such thing ! It took me a good part of my second week to receive my deposit back.
